The group modeling their weeks' work

 
Three of these young ladies made shrugs lined with Bemberg rayon. Their coordinating cotton skirts have elastic in the back waist and a flared flounce which they finished with a narrow rolled hem. The other had her heart set on a dress: It was made of cotton corduroy and had a lined bodice attached to a six-gore skirt with godets and a lapped zipper. Red velvet ribbon bows accented each godet.

Brushed cotton shrug has puffed sleeves and rayon lining.  The skirt is a cotton print with a flounce.
A rust cotton corduroy shrug is lined with rayon. Striped cotton skirt has a flounce with the stripes running in an opposing direction.
