Return to Gallery SEWING 101 - JULY SESSION
This group of girls were wonderful to work with!
All these young ladies used the same pattern. Three had contrasting midriff, neck and sleevebands; these girls learned how to sew opposing curves together. The fourth chose a view featuring a neckline ruffle which she trimmed with ric rac to coordinate with her polka dots. It also had set in puff sleeves instead of kimono sleeves and an elastic waist rather than a midriff band. They all learned gathering techniques.
