This young lady has fingers that sing -- it was so fun to watch her manipulate the fabric to do exactly what she wanted it to do! Her McCall's sundress has contrasting straps and bottom band. The weight of the brown at the bottom creates a nice balance.

I love the way this stitcher trims her thread ends close to the fabric! It's the sweetheart neckline dress again, this time done up in a pink cotton lawn with white polka dots.

You'll not find a kid with a cheerier disposition than this young stitcher possesses! She found a beautiful blue print to make up into her dress featuring a sweetheart neckline and loop and button back closure.

There is a definite knack to pinning -- thank goodness when everything is flat and in place! A lovely cotton batik with blue chrysanthemums matched the gracious personality of this aspiring sewist.

Paying close attention so as to cut exactly on the edge of her pattern this young lady's precision met with success in her finished dress. As with many of the kids she absolutely adored Izzy. (And yes, Izzy will be back this summer!)

This girl is filled with self-confidence, a love for sewing and an attraction to quality materials! She chose a Butterick pattern and paired it with a cotton sateen floral print accented with a white cotton border.
