What Goes Around Comes Around: 101

She's Back! Betz White, author of the newly published recycled felting book Warm Fuzzies: 30 Sweet Felted Projects, will show you how to take a well-loved wooly sweater and transform it into something warm and whimsical. Learn about the amazing properties of wool and the felting/fulling process. Experiment with various embellishment techniques such as applique, needle felting and more. Some sewing knowledge required. Materials fee of $15, payable to the instructor, includes all you need to complete the project of your choice: Scarf, pillow or bag.

What Goes Around Comes Around: Holiday

Get a jump on the holiday season with felted decorations, gifts and accessories you create by refashioning second hand wool sweaters. The felting is done, ready for you to cut, sew, and embellish it into stockings, ornaments, and other holiday decor. Betz will share tips, techniques and inspiration for everyone on your list. A materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor.

Prerequisite: What Goes Around Comes Around: 101 or a working knowledge of the felting/fulling process
