SUMMER CAMPS

Sewing 101

On the first day of camp learn the parts and functions of a sewing machine and become confident in your ability to operate it as you make a little drawstring pouch. Once you understand the basics it is on to pattern and fabric selection and learning to read pattern layout and assembly instructions. As you cut and construct your first major sewing project the foundation is being laid for a lifetime of joyful stitching. Class includes a field trip to my neighborhood fabric store Treadle Yard Goods. Campers should bring a bag lunch and $50 on the second day to purchase supplies.

July 12 - 16 (full) and August 2 - 6 (full)
