Sewing Lounge Testimonial
"I recently used the services of the Sewing Lounge to sew three cordura cases for my son's display panels (46"x32"x8"). My son was tired of lugging big boxes around, so I naively agreed to make these cases according to his specifications. These cases included lots of nylon seat belt webbing. I started them on my home sewing machine. My machine often shuddered and said "overload". When I read about the Sewing Lounge and its industrial equipment, I decided to give it a try. The studio is spacious and has the largest cutting table I've seen. Maggie was very helpful: teaching me how to use the industrial machine, cut the cordura pieces with a wood burning tool (really cool) to seal the edges at the same time, and to make perfect corners. She even suggested a change of sewing order which worked out very well. When I gave the completed cases to my son, he said, "Awesome!" Others told me that they looked "very professional." This was a very positive experience for me, and I would not hesitate to use the Sewing Lounge again. I highly recommend the Sewing Lounge for your projects that would best be sewn on industrial equipment."–Judy Maccanelli, Selvedge_Newsletter of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter of the American Sewing Guild_Vol. 27, No. 4_Aug./ Sept.
