At the Lounge we're moving towards an integrated design/pattern making/construction process. Kim Faith teaches Flat Pattern and I'm working out the details with two phenomenal teachers for classes on learning to draw your designs and draping.
The Lounge has industrial and home machines and irons, great tables, sewing tools and the guidance of knowledgeable teachers to help make your sewing schemes a success. Machines in need of repair can be dropped off at the Lounge during Open Sewing Lab hours. Your machine will receive thoughtful and thorough care. Basic tune-ups start at just $55 for a simple mechanical machine with built in stitches.
