	Betz White is a designer with nearly 2 decades of design experience in the apparel industry. She combines the ancient art of felting with today's cast-away sweaters to create what she calls "felted wool, artfully stitched". With a flair for wit and whimsy, her designs reflect the everyday object in a fresh and humorous light. An avid felter, sewer and green crafter, Betz sells her one-of-a-kind recycled wool items internationally. She teaches workshops and maintains a popular blog on the topic. 	Maggy Schneider is a Saint Paul artist and owner of Sewing Lounge. Self-taught, her most crucial sewing education occurred while working with the amazing Suy Path, a Cambodian seamstress trained at a French sewing school. Fundamental techniques she had never seen in pattern instructions or sewing books were imparted, simple things that worked, enhancing her intuitive and logical approach to the craft. Besides having been a sample sewer for local designers she has also done production runs, pattern work and custom sewing. Crafting and sewing with children for the past 29 years has allowed her to keep at least one foot in a very creative world and it remains one of her favorite endeavors.
	Instructor, technician and sewing machine enthusiast Steve “Bobbin Doctor” Pauling’s interest in sewing machines began as a teenager when he “borrowed” his mother’s brand new pink and gray sewing machine to repair a school bag. The bag was never repaired but he did begin his life long journey learning about broken needles, thread jams, bad tension and how to fix your mother’s machine without her knowing. Steve has a small business refurbishing pre-1970 sewing machines aptly named “Bobbin Doctor” and currently has over 100 vintage machines in his personal collection.
