Meet Izzy

Izzy Winegar is a technical designer with a B.S. in Apparel Design and Development from UW Stout. Her understanding of the apparel design process, from illustration and patterns to fitting and production, make her uniquely qualified to teach sewing.

Since graduating Izzy has worked for Kohls, Hammermade, Trend Lab, and most recently, Tai Apparel.

As a Sewing Lounge alum, (she started her sewing journey at the age of 12 when she began attending our summer camps!) former camp assistant and now full-fledged teacher, she is thrilled to be able to share her knowledge and passion with other sewists
